It's a very typical middle-of-the-road Massachusetts suburb town, equidistant between Boston and Providence so you get best of both worlds. But it's close to the highway so it's a convenient place to live and there's a very solid middle class. The drug problem is pretty bad there, sort of a mini-Brockton. Stoughton also has a large population of immigrants from Brazil, Cape Verde and the Azores so we have a lot of Brazilian-style restaurants and bakeries. Town Spa is easily the most well-known Stoughton restaurant, is super popular and the place everyone goes after large events. Our most notable landmark is Alex's Strip Club on the main street, close to the McDonald's and Friendly's. It's one of the most diverse and lower-income towns in the area (second only to Randolph), nicknamed "Tough Town". I am from Stoughton, 3rd generation townie.

struggle with providing accommodations for. Maybe a big part of it is because I left so long ago that it’s all a big blast of nostalgia when they get into this stuff. The 2016 AOTA Annual Conference Program Guide is sponsored by.

I know this podcast has a worldwide listenership so it’s just very cool when they say stuff that makes me go, hold up, they’re talking about the movie theatre where I saw Swim Fan 5 times in one week in junior high school(also the best birthday of my life where my dad blindfolded me and my brother and drove us to the theatre on its opening day to see the mask of zorro). To hear the minutiae of Mitch talking about the kiddie place that my brother attended is so fucking bizarre. To hear Nick say “so what’s the deal with Stoughton?” Is such a weird out of body experience as a podcast listener! They talked about Town Spa which is the restaurant in my life where we went after confirmations, graduations, funerals. It is so bizarre and surreal to be listening to a show I’d love regardless of where Mitch is from but an entire episode is dedicated to discussing places I grew up going to and towns I feel more at home than any place in the world. If you’re from Massachusetts and you love the Doughboys, you know what I’m talking about. I just finished the pizza tour episode with Danno.
